In the following, we present the system technology for e-mobility components in more detail.
Innovative production concept for cell contact systems
Cell contact systems (CCS) interconnect the individual cells in the electric vehicle module. A fully automated assembly test system for these components is currently being set up at the company's headquarters in Passau. From the feeding of the individual parts, through the assembly and testing of the CCS, to the component packaging in customer-specific trays, the entire production is automated. Series production is also flexible with regard to fluctuations in the productions quantity and includes inexpensive options for expanding capacity. In order to meet the requirements for process and component safety of those sensitive components, intelligent data management including traceability is crucial.High number of variants in the manufacture and testing of module connectors
AKE focuses on the development and manufacture of welding test cells as well as end of line test systems for module connectors. When it comes to the design, the subject of component safety is of particular importance, HV insulation and breakdown tests are integrated into the systems for this purpose. Component-independent feeding systems and automatic gripper changes on robots enable the processing of numerous component variants - up to 40 different variants can be produced or tested on one system. From the manual WT line to fully automatic machines - the concepts for the assembly of battery management systems
In electric and hybrid vehicles, battery management systems are the interface between the battery and the drive train of the vehicle, the heart of the electric vehicle, so to speak. In addition to the current-carrying components, intelligent components for monitoring and managing the battery are included here. AKE offers different concepts for the manufacture of this product. Various solutions are implemented, from fully automatic machines for realizing large quantities to manual workpiece carrier lines with exchangeable set-up carts for high flexibility with regard to the variety of variants and cycle times.Assembly lines for battery systems made of round, pouch or prismatic cells
In the field of manufacturing battery systems, AKE develops and implements assembly systems for processing different cell types for use in hybrid or fully electric vehicles. For our customers we implement automated solutions for series production in large quantities as well as concepts for pre-series production with a high proportion of workers. When it comes to the manufacture of battery systems, component and process reliability are crucial. Emergency concepts and process monitoring, including the full scope of documentation, are integrated into our assembly test systems for battery systems.Current projects in the field of charging technology
Numerous projects have already been implemented in the area of charging technology. AKE develops concepts for the assembly of plug systems, charging sockets or charging stations. We are currently developing innovative projects for the automatic assembly and testing of charging sockets. With these projects, we were able to develop efficient, flexible assembly concepts in the smallest of spaces and with a minimal footprint and also offer our customers added value in terms of system availability and cycle times.
