A central point for us is environmental protection. We pay attention to a resource-saving way of working - the material consumption and the use of resources should be kept as low as possible.
We also integrate our suppliers in environmental protection. We take care to order from environmentally responsible suppliers, to minimize transport routes where possible and to use environmentally friendly resources.

Compliance
An important part of our management is compliance. This area includes legal requirements as well as our own rules of conduct, which we have set ourselves. We want to secure the trust of our employees, customers and business partners. Compliance is one of the key criteria for successful corporate governance and contributes to the social and economic success of AKE.

Quality
For AKE sustainability is the observance of quality standards. We work according to the standard DIN EN ISO 9001: 2015. We have set ourselves the goal of building excellent long-term and sustainable customer relationships based on trust and good cooperation. We constantly improve our quality, carry out a target planning as well as a risk and opportunity planning, thus ensuring the sustainable achievement of our internal quality requirements.

Our team
For us, sustainability is the responsible management of our employees. The group identity is a central point of our way of working: We ensure a motivating working atmosphere. We pay attention to equal opportunities and diversity. We support our employees according to their strengths. We support our team with non-tariff benefits, pay attention to safety at work, to health-promoting measures and to work-life balance. Education
Sustainability includes the promotion of in-house junior staff. We take care to train our own specialists of tomorrow. We give young people a perspective through well-founded training in an exciting, international environment. In doing so, we make sure that our trainees are quickly integrated into day-to-day business, that they are given responsibility and that we support them in their development. We want to strengthen the personality of our trainees and promote their social skills.

Social
Sustainability is a question of social commitment. We support numerous regional projects. We help disadvantaged children and adolescents, support social institutions, educational workshops and donation events. At the same time our employees feel responsible and support us regularly during the donation campaigns or participate in donation events themselves.
