Several years ago we developed the Verinno - our press system consisting of a press and changable tools. This system is mainly used in the process of folding rear-injected pillar linings and has become established as the general standard of many automotive suppliers.

Now we have further developed the system - the same principle but much more space in the tool and 32 tons of contact force. This XL variant of the Verinno is used, among other things, for the lamination of trunk loading shelves or hat racks.

The advantages of XL Verinno

Tools with a pickup area of up to 1100 x 1700 mm can be integrated in the system, which enables machining of large vehicle parts. It is possible to link the system with various upstream or downstream processes. As with our standard Verinno, the intelligence of the big system is in the tool. The system can therefore produce different component variants by a simple tool change without additional programming effort. Numerous machining and assembly processes can be implemented to the Verinno, such as laminating, folding, assembling, punching, welding or riveting. We also guarantee the output of completely rework-free components.

An example of an installation - production line for loading floors

We have already developed and built various production lines with integrated XL Verinnos. One application is the lamination and folding of trunk loading shelves: the carrier material and fabric decor are inserted into the system by the worker. An adhesive is applied to the component by a roller coating, then the variant, position and position of the components are detected by a camera inspection and passed on to the system. A robot picks up the substrate and handles it to a station for plasma treatment to improve the bondability of the material. Then the carrier material and fabric decoration are inserted in the XL Verinno by the robot. There, the components are heated by an infrared heater to activate the initially applied adhesive, then the laminating and edge folding process take place. In the end, completely rework-free components can be removed by the worker.

The AKE Verinno in three different sizes

The AKE Verinno is now available in three different sizes: our standard Verinno for numerous applications, from the armrest to the pillar trim - a smaller version for special applications that need to be implemented to save space - and now brand new the XL Verinno, for large components with high required contact force. With these three sizes, we can optimally cover the different requirements of our customers and respond to their individual needs within the standard concepts.
